Toni Thai Sterrett is a multifaceted creator. A filmmaker, photographer, digital creative and web3 founder of Bad Grrls Creative Club.
She's a 2022 Artist In Resident at The Greene Space (NYPR/WNYC/NPR). She co-produced and co-starred in the Gotham Award nominated film, August The First during her senior year of college. She's written, produced and directed short films, commercials and branded content for clients such as Pantene, Clinique, Nissan, KMart, etc. and has worked with talent such as Taraji P. Henson, Rob Lowe, Gladys Knight, Ilana Glazer, etc. and was chosen by Ava Duvernay as Vibe’s Next Female Filmmaker. Her photography work has been recognized by Time Magazine and published in The New York Times Style Magazine. She's a social audio pioneer and was a speaker on CES' first ever social audio panel. She wrote, directed and co-starred in a social audio, fan fiction version of Hamilton titled, "Hamilton: A Burrspective". Told from the perspective of Aaron Burr. She co-founded The Audio Collective and hosts conversations about Film, Web 3 and more. She's hosted conversations for clients such as Amazon, Bumble, Coindesk, Will Packer Productions, SXSW, HBO, Walmart, and Showtime and for talents such as Tiffany Haddish, Ava Duvernay, Barry Jenkins and more. Toni was featured on the Apple App Store's home page for her efforts in Social Audio and digital art/NFTs. She guest lectures at Parson's School of Design teaching the Metaverse & web3 technology. She's passionate about A.I. and she's spoken about web 3 for She Media, at Consensus and for New York Public Radio. Toni is a member of Forbes The Culture (via Forbes Magazine), she's a part of a16z's Cultural Leadership Fund's #CLFSquad and is repped by UTA.
